Our Prime Minister had announced earlier today that private sectors can resume business effectively from 4th May 2020 subject to the guidelines and standard operating procedures [ SOP ] issued. Surely, members welcome this good news as most of us are eager to resume practise.

We would like to bring your attention to Bar Council Circular No. 131/2020 enclosing the guidelines from the Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department. Please be reminded that the guidelines are required to comply with, before we start operating. We understand your anxiety to resume practise, but we stress that safety of members is more important as Covid -19 pandemic is still life threatening.

Perak Bar has contacted several pest control firms for quotation for disinfection treatments and also thermal scanners. We hope that we could secure a reasonable charges exclusively for our members which will be updated on our website. Perak Bar will not be responsible for the said quotations and members are advised to check themselves.
