The Conveyancing Sub Committee had recently requested feedback/ information from the office of the Pengarah, PTG Perak regarding issues listed below, which were raised by members and the reply from the authority is as follows:-
1. Application for MB’s consent requiring a Valuation Report to be submitted
The Sub committee was informed by some members that a current Valuation Report is required as one of the supporting documents when submitting the application for MB/ State Authority’s consent to transfer at certain Land Offices in Perak.
This issue was raised for clarification with the relevant authority and we are now informed that the need for such a Report is only an additional information which has to be prepared by either PTG/ the relevant Land Administrator, when forwarding the application for approval to the State Authority- it is an internal administrative procedure.
Therefore, this document is not required to be provided when members submit the application for consent.
2. Application of e-Tanah
We are attempting to obtain a date for dialogue with PTG officials on the workings and implementation of the system and members having any query on this , are encouraged to inform us of same so that this can be brought up with the officials at the appropriate time.
