Dear Members of the Perak Bar,

RE: UPDATES ON ISSUES WITH eTANAH

Kindly be informed that the Chairman of the Perak Bar Committee , the Conveyancing chair and the Chairman of the Kelab Kakitangan Firma Guaman Perak, had on 01.04.2021 called at the office of the Pengarah, PTG Perak to hand over a memorandum on the eTANAH system which was implemented in Perak on 15.2.2021 and the various problems arising therefrom. A copy of the said Memo is attached herewith.

We are awaiting a date to be fixed by the office of the Pengarah to enable a full and frank discussion to be held,  highlighting concerns raised by members of the Bar pertaining to same. We shall endeavour to obtain a satisfactory outcome / solution from the said authority in response to the current problems

Meanwhile, the Conveyancing Chair was invited to take part in a meeting on 14.4.2021 with the secretariat of the Technical Working Group on Registering Property under PEMUDAH and representative from JKPTG at Putrajaya and issues related to the implementation of the eTANAH system were brought to their attention.

We shall keep members updated on the above.
