We refer to the Bar Council’s Circular No.185/2023 . The Bar Council’s Solicitors’ Remuneration Enforcement Committee (“SREC”) is attempting to gain feedback from members on the new Solicitors’ Remuneration Order 2023 (“SRO 2023”) for the purpose of preparing for a “National Briefing on the SRO 2023” for members.
 
We also take note that members are facing some challenges when dealing with land offices nationwide. As such, in order to address such issues, the Bar Council’s Conveyancing Practice Committee (“CPC”) has requested for the state bars to assist in compiling all issues and challenges faced by members concerning land offices.
 
Therefore, in order to have a meaningful and effective discourse , we invite Members to provide feedback on pertinent issues, including details of the transactions concerned to enable us to take the necessary action.
