RE : MALAYSIA-SINGAPORE YOUNG LAWYERS’ SUMMIT 2024 – VISUALISING THE FUTURE @ 1^ST MARCH 2024

We refer to the above matter and the Malaysian Bar Circular No. 062/2024 dated 20^th February 2024.

Kindly be informed that the Bar Council National Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee, in collaboration with the Law Society of Singapore, is organising a conference entitled “Malaysia-Singapore Young Lawyers Summit 2024 – Visualising The Future” which will be held as follows :

DATE        : 1^st MARCH 2024 [FRIDAY]
TIME         : 9.00 AM TO 4.00PM                          
VENUE     : RAJA AZIZ ADDRUSE AUDITORIUM
                    2^ND FLOOR, WISMA BADAN PEGUAM MALAYSI
                    NO. 2, LEBOH PASAR BESAR, 50050 KUALA LUMPUR
REGISTRATION FEES : RM120.00
COMMITMENT FEES AFTER SUBSIDIZING 50% : RM60.00
CPD POINTS : 3 POINTS

Kindly be informed that the Perak State Bar has agreed to subsidize 50% of the registration fee to attend the conference of the aforesaid Malaysia-Singapore Young Lawyers’ Summit 2024 for lawyers and pupils in chambers (practicing 7 years and below).

Members/Pupils in chambers who would like to register, please furnish us with your details (full name, firm name, contact number and email) for us to register before 28^th February, 2024.

TAKE NOTE: payment can be made by way of direct deposit (please bank into Public Bank Berhad, Account No. 3229230711) or by way of cheque (made payable to “Perak Bar Committee”). Registration will be confirmed once full payment is received.

Please TAKE NOTE that successful applicants will be required to prepare a short report / summary in respect of the said “Malaysia-Singapore Young Lawyers Summit 2024 – Visualising The Future”. The said short reports / summaries will be published at the Perak Bar website / Perak Bar Facebook page for the benefit of other Young Lawyers / Pupils.
