RE : CAR PARK FOR MEMBERS OF THE BAR AT IPOH, PERAK

The Perak Bar Committee is pleased to announce that after months of negotiations with multiple different entities, we have successfully secured a private parking area exclusively for the use of our Members.

The designated parking plot is conveniently located opposite the High Court Building, with access available through the rear, near the KTM railway station building (the side nearest to the rear end of lower court complex undergoing rebuild).

We are pleased to inform you that parking at this location is free of charge for our members. Members are advised to purchase the Perak Bar/Malaysian Bar car sticker from the Perak Bar Secretariat to have access to this parking area. In addition to the above, through negotiations and support from the Deputy Minister of Law and Institutional Reform YB M.Kulasegaran and the collaboration of Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI), the Perak Bar Committee has also managed to secure 10 parking lots within the MBI-owned library compound (Perpustakaan Awam next to the Lower Court Complex).

These parking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the library compound still requires the use of the coupon parking system as per MBI regulations.

We hope that these additional parking facilities will provide greater convenience to our Members, especially those attending to matters at Court.
