RE : 80TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE MALAYSIAN BAR @14 MARCH 2026 (SATURDAY)

Kindly be informed that the Malaysian Bar will be holding its 80th Annual General Meeting on 14 March 2026 (Saturday). Members are kindly requested to refer to Malaysian Bar Circular No. 056/2026 for further details regarding the Annual General Meeting.

The Perak Bar Committee strongly encourages Members to attend the said Annual General Meeting, which provides Members of the Malaysian Bar with the opportunity to participate in discussions and deliberations on resolutions and matters affecting the Malaysian Bar and the legal profession. Members’ attendance and participation would contribute meaningfully to the deliberations and decision-making at the Annual General Meeting.

Should there be sufficient demand from Members, the Perak Bar Committee will make the necessary arrangements to organize transportation, including buses, to facilitate Members’ attendance at the Annual General Meeting.

Members and Pupils in Chambers who are interested in utilizing the transportation (if arranged) are kindly requested to inform the Secretariat on or before 12 March 2026 to enable the Committee to assess the level of demand and make the necessary arrangements.
