RE : PRODUCTIVE ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN PERAK BAR COMMITTEE AND INSTITUT DARUL RIDZUAN (IDR)

We are pleased to inform you that the Perak Bar Committee recently held a fruitful engagement session with Institut Darul Ridzuan, the official think tank of the Perak State Government.

The meeting provided meaningful insights into IDR’s ongoing initiatives, including those under the Perak Sejahtera 2030 framework, and offered a deeper understanding of the State’s public policy direction. During the discussion, the Perak Bar Committee highlighted the importance of strengthening efforts to attract substantial direct investments into the State of Perak, an area in which IDR plays a key advisory role. The Committee emphasised that increased investments would not only drive economic growth but also create broader opportunities for legal work that could benefit members of the Bar in Perak.

This engagement marks a positive step towards future collaboration between the Perak Bar and IDR, potentially encompassing knowledge-sharing programmes, policy dialogues, and other joint initiatives of mutual value.
