RE: UPDATE ON CAR PARK FOR MEMBERS OF THE PERAK BAR AT KTM

We wish to inform members that the Perak Bar has received a 30-day notice from the Railway Asset Corporation (“RAC”), with effect from 1 September 2026, in relation to the existing car park situated on the RAC land.

RAC has informed us that a new car park operator, Auto Parking Sdn. Bhd., will be taking over the management and operation of the car park.

The Perak Bar is presently in negotiations with Auto Parking Sdn. Bhd. with a view to securing dedicated and suitable car park arrangements for members of the Perak Bar, including designated parking spaces for lawyers attending the Courts.

We wish to assure members that the Committee is actively engaging with the new operator to work out an arrangement that will minimise inconvenience to members and as far as possible ensure continued access to parking facilities.

In the meantime, members may continue to use the existing RAC car park up to and including 30 September 2026.

Further details regarding the new parking arrangements, including the allocation and terms applicable to members, will be communicated to members once the negotiations with Auto Parking Sdn. Bhd. have been finalised.
