RE : EAST COAST NATIONAL YOUNG LAWYERS CONFERENCE 2026

The Perak Bar Young Lawyers & Pupils in Chambers Committee is pleased to share an invitation from the Kelantan Bar Committee to attend the East Coast National Young Lawyers Conference 2026, themed:

“Thriving and Leading in Modern Legal Practice: Shaping the Future of Young Lawyers.”

The conference aims to bring together members of the legal profession from across Malaysia to discuss contemporary legal developments, emerging issues, and the future of legal practice.

It will also provide an excellent platform for networking and professional development. 

Conference Details

📅 Date  : 1 August 2026 (Saturday)

🕗 Time  : 8.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m.

📍 Venue: Hotel Perdana, Kota Bharu, Kelantan

The Conference will feature a distinguished line-up of speakers, including the Chief Justice of Malaysia, Yang Amat Arif Tun Dato’ Wan Ahmad Farid Bin Wan Salleh, who will deliver the Keynote Address titled “What Does the Bench Expect From Young Counsel?”. 

The programme also includes sessions by Federal Court Judges, senior practitioners, and industry leaders covering advocacy, ethics, litigation, corporate practice, taxation, financial discipline, and career development.
