RE: THE BAR BENCH GAMES 2026 AND PERAK – PENANG BAR GAMES 2026

We are pleased to announce that Perak Bar Committee will be organising two sporting events this year, namely the Bar Bench Games 2026 and the Perak – Penang Bar Games 2026.

After an absence of almost a decade, the Bar Bench Games will be making its much-anticipated return this year. The Bar Bench Games will be held on 4 & 5 September 2026 (Friday & Saturday) and will revive the friendly sporting rivalry between Perak Bar, the Perak Judiciary and the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) Perak (Jabatan Peguam Negara Negeri Perak).

The event aims to bring members of the legal fraternity and the Bench together once again in the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship and fellowship.

In addition to the Bar Bench Games, and in keeping with the yearly tradition, Perak Bar will also be participating in the Perak – Penang Bar Games 2026, which will be held on 23 & 24 October 2026 (Friday & Saturday). The event will be hosted by Perak Bar this year.

Both events provide a wonderful opportunity for members and pupils in chambers to come together, build stronger bonds and represent Perak Bar in a spirit of friendly competition.

At the same time, we are currently seeking sponsorships or contributions from law firms to support and assist with the costs of organising and participating in these sporting events.
