Dear Members and Pupils in Chambers,

RE: COURTESY CALLS BY THE PERAK BAR COMMITTEE

The Perak Bar Committee is pleased to share that the Committee recently had the privilege of paying courtesy calls on:

1. Y.A Tuan Syed Faisal bin Syed Amir, Judicial Commissioner of the Taiping High Court; 
2. Y.A Tuan Zaman bin Mohd Noor, Judicial Commissioner of the Tapah High Court; and
3. Y.A Puan D.Sunita Kaur Jessy, Chairperson of the Industrial Court.

The courtesy calls provided a valuable opportunity for the Perak Bar Committee to engage with the respective office-holders in a warm and cordial setting and to foster closer professional relations.

During the meetings, various matters of mutual interest were discussed, including issues relating to court processes, the administration of justice and matters affecting members of the Bar. The discussions were open, constructive and encouraging, with a shared understanding of the importance of effective communication and cooperation between the legal profession and the respective institutions.

The Committee was particularly pleased with the warm reception extended during all three courtesy calls. The meetings were most fruitful and served to further strengthen the relationship and mutual understanding between the Bench and the Bar, as well as between the Bar and the Industrial Court.

The Perak Bar Committee looks forward to maintaining an open and constructive dialogue with the Judiciary and the Industrial Court, and to continuing to foster strong professional relationships in the interests of the administration of justice and the legal profession.
