RE: PARKING OF CARS BY LAWYERS AT THE TELUK INTAN COURT COMPLEX

We refer to the above matter.

The Perak Bar has received complaints concerning the inadequacy of parking facilities at the Teluk Intan Court Complex, as a result of which lawyers have had to park their vehicles at the public parking bays located opposite the Court Complex.

Whilst we appreciate the limited availability of parking bays at the Teluk Intan Sessions Court, we have sought the indulgence of the learned Sessions Court Judge to allow some flexibility in respect of parking arrangements, particularly to permit lawyers to park their vehicles within the Court Complex during the afternoon.

In this regard, we attach herewith a letter dated 2 September 2026 from the learned Sessions Court Judge, the contents of which are self-explanatory.

Members and Pupils in Chambers are kindly requested to take note of and be guided by the directions set out in the said letter when parking their vehicles at the Teluk Intan Court Complex.
