PERAK BAR
CIRCULAR TO MEMBERS
Dear Members,
RE: NEW CAR PARKING ARRANGEMENT AT RAC LAND – EFFECTIVE 1 OCTOBER 2026
We refer to our earlier circular regarding the car park situated on the land of the Railway Assets Corporation (“RAC”) and the takeover of the car park by Auto Parking (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“the Operator”).
We are pleased to inform members that, following discussions with the Operator, a new parking arrangement has been secured for members of the Perak Bar.
1. DESIGNATED PARKING SPACES
The Operator has agreed to identify and mark twenty-four (24) parking spaces for the use of Perak Bar members/users.
With effect from 1 October 2026, members shall no longer park at the previous designated yellow-box area.
Instead, members are required to park at the new designated row highlighted in GREEN in the parking plan circulated together with this notice.
The designated parking arrangement is as follows:
Members are strictly requested to park only within the designated row highlighted in GREEN and not in the previous yellow-box area or any other area within the car park.
2. PARKING STICKER AND VERIFICATION
Members using the designated parking spaces are required to:
Members are requested to cooperate with the Guard on duty and produce the relevant information through the Malaysian Bar App when required.
The parking sticker alone is not sufficient for verification. Members should therefore ensure that their Malaysian Bar App is accessible when using the designated parking area.
3. PARKING OUTSIDE THE RESERVED PERIOD
The twenty-four (24) designated parking spaces are reserved for Perak Bar members only during the period of 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
Outside the reserved period, including before 8.00 a.m., after 5.00 p.m., on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, members who wish to use the car park shall be required to pay the applicable parking charges directly to the Operator.
Members should not assume that the Perak Bar’s parking arrangement applies outside the reserved period. Auto Park (M) Sdn Bhd will have the authority to clamp the vehicles parked outside the reserved period.
4. COOPERATION OF MEMBERS
The Committee appreciates members’ cooperation in complying with the new arrangement. The purpose of the designated spaces and verification requirements is to ensure that the limited parking facility is properly utilised by authorised members of the Perak Bar.
Members are also reminded that the designated parking spaces are limited to twenty-four (24) spaces. Members are therefore requested to park responsibly and ensure that the arrangement is not abused. Members are reminded that the designated parking spaces are provided exclusively for authorised Perak Bar members/users.
Members are strictly not permitted to purchase, obtain or use parking stickers on behalf of non-members, nor should members facilitate, encourage or permit non-members to park at the designated Perak Bar parking area.
If a member’s name, BC No. or other identification details are found to have been shared with a non-member for fraudulent use of the designated parking area, a complaint will be lodged with the Disciplinary Board.
The Committee has secured only 24 designated spaces, and the arrangement is intended solely for the convenience of Perak Bar members.
Members are therefore requested to cooperate fully and ensure that the parking facility is not misused or made available to unauthorised persons.
The Committee will continue to liaise with the Operator on matters relating to the parking arrangement and will inform members of any material changes.
We thank all members for their patience, cooperation and understanding during the transition from the previous RAC arrangement to the new parking arrangement.
The new parking arrangement will take effect from 1 October 2026.
Until then kindly use the current designated parking for Members.
