To members of the Perak Bar and Pupils in Chambers,
Further to the ongoing Conditional Movement Control Order [ CMCO ], Perak Bar is taking measures to comply the guidelines issued by National Security Council [MKN] and Ministry of Health. Please take note of the following:-
PERAK BAR SECRETARIAT
- Operating hours will be 9.00 am to 4.00pm [ Monday to Friday ]. Changes to operating hours will be revisited after the Hari Raya festive holidays.
- No visitors are allowed into the secretariat. Members are advised to contact the secretariat vie phone call [ 05-2415457 ], via fax [ 05-2537590 ] or via email [ perakbar@gmail.com ].
- Any documents/correspondences which need to be handed over or collected from secretariat shall be placed on the counter table at entrance of the secretariat.
- For any payments, we would advise members to do an online transfer to Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) , Acc no : 341110400532 and email the receipt for reference to secretariat.
- No meetings, seminars and disciplinary committee proceedings are allowed until further notice.
LEGAL AID
- Operating hours will be 9.00 am to 4.00pm [ Monday to Friday ]. Changes to operating hours will be revisited after the Hari Raya festive holidays.
- No visitors are allowed. Members are advised to contact the Cik Sara vie phone call [ 05-2410432 ], via fax [ 05-2410428 ] or via email [ peraklac@gmail.com ].
- Pupils are not required to attend legal aid duty until further announcement.
- All instructions pertaining YBCK duties will be disseminated through email or WhatsApp group.
- Any documents/correspondences/ claims which need to be handed over or collected shall be placed on the reception at entrance.
LIBRARY
- Operating hours will be 10.00 am to 3.00pm [ Monday to Friday ].
- Members are advised to seek prior appointment through phone call [ 05-2415457 ] or via email [ perakbar@gmail.com ].
- Only 1 member is allowed to use the computer room to do online research and limited to 2 hours per day.
- Meanwhile, 2 members are allowed to use the book section at a time.
- Members who wish to use the library facilities will be screened for temperature at the entrance. Anyone with temperature reading above 37.5° will not be allowed. Details of members will also be recorded. Members must wear mask at all time. The secretariat will provide mask, if needed.
- For copying services, our staffs will assist.
We hope that members do understand that measures taken are for the safety of our members and staffs. Therefore, we request for members’ cooperation and compliance of the above.
