IMPORTANT UPDATES
The Conveyancing Chair has been liasing frequently with the officials from LPHP and PTG Perak to address the problems caused/ faced by members by the implementation of this Circular. At a recent follow up, I was informed that LPHP is sympathetic with the problems now faced by members and is looking favourably at solutions advanced by the Perak Bar Committee – the matter is now pending for consideration by the State Exco after having been tabled to the Board at LPHP. It cannot be stressed more that these problems take considerable time to be resolved due to the various stages of processing it has to go through and the Conveyancing Sub Committee is doing its very best to seek a favourable response in the fastest possible time from the authority concerned and thereafter to liase with PTG, Perak to request for waiver of penalty for instruments of dealings affected by the recent Circular.
The conditions ,checklist and full set of the application form for the consent to transfer of low cost houses can be viewed/ accessed here .
