RE:  UPCOMING EVENTS

1. PERAK BAR AGM

Members are reminded to make a conscious effort to attend  the 37th Annual General Meeting of the Perak Bar scheduled for 17.2.2023 at 3.00pm at the Ipoh Swimming Club. Your attendance is of utmost importance in order to ensure that the necessary quoram is reached for the meeting to proceed as planned. Considerable time and effort has been taken by the Perak Bar Committee in organising the AGM and participation from members is much anticipated.

2. INTERNATIONAL MALAYSIA LAW CONFERENCE ( 11TH – 13TH JULY 2023)

As the early bird registration fee has been extended by the Bar Council, the Perak Bar Committee invites lawyers who are in practice not exceeding 7 years and pupils in chambers to grab the opportunity to attend the Conference where a number of seats for registration are up for sponsorship by the Perak Bar Committee. Kindly submit your name & details to the Secretariat and successful participants will be offered on a first come first served basis.

3. MATTERS CONCERNING COURTS

The Courts Liason Sub Committee of the Bar Council has issued a circular requesting feedback from members on any matter relating to the Courts in general. Kindly submit your comments/ queries directly to the Sub Committee concerned or to the Perak Bar Committee which will compile all information on your behalf and forward to the relevant Councillor .
