Kindly take note of and participate in the following:-
 
 
1.   MALAYSIAN BAR 77^th AGM
 

All members and pupils re encouraged to make every attempt to attend the AGM which is scheduled to be held on 18.3.2023 at Wisma MCA, Kuala Lumpur at 10.00 am. Further details are provided in the circular no:069/2023 issued by the Secretary of the Bar Council. Transport can be arranged by the Perak Bar Committee, provided sufficient numbers indicate their intention to attend. Those interested are to provide their details to the Secretariat of the Perak Bar, latest by Tuesday  14^th March 2023. Once we have the required numbers, then only can confirmation of transportation be made known.

2.  INTERNATIONAL MALAYSIAN LAW CONFERENCE 
 

There are still have some places left for pupils and members with 7 & below years in practice, to participate in this Conference. Do take up the opportunity to learn and widen your scope of interests in the legal field.

3.  MAINTAINING HIGH STANDARDS OF PRACTICE 
 

The Perak Bar Committee has received comments  on the declining standards in advocacy and in the preparation of written submissions. It is in our best interest to portray and exercise the highest standard of professionalism in all matters before the Courts and to ensure that all cause papers and written submissions filed are accurate, concise and straight to the point. References to case law ought to be marked/ pointed out clearly ie referring to the particular page and paragraph, so that the presiding Judge/ Magistrate is able to quickly cross refer and to study the contents of the case law in its entirety. This will undoubtedly make a positive and favourable impact on the case.
