RE : REQUEST FOR FEEDBACK ON ISSUES PERTAINING TO PERAK COURTS

We refer to the above matter.
 
The Perak Bar Committee is proposing to have a meeting with the Director of the Perak Courts on a date to be fixed.
 
The purpose of the meeting is to find amicable solutions to problems faced by our members in their daily practice. To that end we have already collated problems faced by practitioners involved in handling accident cases under the previous committee and a letter has already been sent seeking a suitable date for the meeting but unfortunately the meeting did not materialise as the previous Director was on leave pending retirement. However, we are made to understand that a new Director has been appointed. 
 
In light of the above, we would like to seek feedback from members on any difficulties faced in court with regards to civil, criminal and other matters in order to raise these issues during the meeting and hopefully arrive at an amenable solution which will be acceptable to all parties.
