RE: URGENT UPDATES FROM PTG & LHDN, PERAK.

The Perak Bar has recently received notifications from the abovementioned authorities of the following:

1. Implementation of e-Tanah system

We are informed that the date fixed for gazetting the GO-live Sistem e-Tanah for all land administration offices at Perak, has been fixed for 11.2.2021 and members are advised to take note of the following important dates:

(a) Last day for counter presentations for law firms will be 5.2.2021;

(b) Closure of all land administration offices in Perak will be from 9.2.2021 until 14.2.2021;

(c) Go-live Sistem e-Tanah and opening of counters for operations at all land administration offices in Perak will be on 15.2.2021.

Members are advised to adhere to the following for purposes of ensuring that the CKHT Forms are accepted as complete by LHDN, Perak:

(a) For CKHT 1A /1B –

(b) For CKHT 2A –

• to insert details of name & income tax file reference / IC/passport/ registration number of Vendor and Purchaser(or equivalent) respectively;
• ensure signature of Purchaser is on the said Form;
• details of the asset being acquired ie title particulars, lot number, address, portion/ share/ number of shares, name of company issuing the shares;
• date of acquisition of the property/asset and
• value/ price of acquisition ( if any ).

 

(c) For CKHT 3 –

• to insert details of name & income tax file reference / IC/passport/ registration number of Vendor ( or equivalent);
• ensure signature of Vendor is on the said Form;
• details of the asset being acquired ie title particulars, lot number, address, portion/ share/ number of shares, name of company issuing the shares;
• marking / ticking off the relevant column to state the entitlement to exemption, if applicable.

 

We are informed that LHDN will continue to accept incomplete CKHT Forms only for cases which are subject to market value where no valuation report is submitted on condition that the complete supporting documents as stated in the Senarai Semak BNCKHT are produced simultaneously when filing the said Forms. CKHT Forms not in compliance with the above requirements will not be accepted and members will have to resubmit duly completed ones.
