RE: BLUE BOOK – COLLECTING SIGNATURES

I hope this message finds you well. As the Chairperson of the Young Lawyers & Pupils Committee (YLPC) for the 2023/2024 term, I am aware of the “blue book” which requires pupils to get signatures from each and every committee member of the Perak Bar.

 
I understand that it can be difficult for pupils to set up appointments with each respective committee member, as it takes time, effort, and resources.
 
To make things easier for the pupils, the Committee has decided to have a meet and greet session every first week (Tuesday) of the month at 4.30PM. This session will take place at our monthly Committee meeting at the Perak Bar Auditorium. 
 
This will allow the pupils to meet all the Committee members in one go and get the signatures they need.
 
Please note that if there are any changes to the schedule, we will keep you informed. Also, to pupils planning to attend the meet and greet session, please inform your pupils to kindly notify the Secretariat of the Perak Bar at least two (2) days before the meeting.
 
We believe that this new arrangement will save pupils’ time and resources, while still ensuring that they have the opportunity to meet and network with all the committee members.
