RE: AUDIENCE WITH DYMM PADUKA SERI SULTAN OF PERAK, SULTAN NAZRIN SHAH AT ISTANA PERAK, KUALA LUMPUR

We are pleased to inform members that on 17 April 2026, the Chairman of the Perak Bar, together with the Committee members, was granted an audience with DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, at Istana Perak, Kuala Lumpur. 

During the audience, His Royal Highness expressed genuine interest in the issues, challenges, and ongoing concerns faced by the Perak Bar. We had the honour of engaging in a meaningful and constructive discussion, where several matters affecting the administration of justice and the welfare of members were shared.

His Royal Highness listened attentively and offered thoughtful perspectives on the role of the legal profession, the significance of access to justice, and the importance of strengthening the relationship between the Bar and the community it serves.

The Perak Bar Committee extends its deepest appreciation to His Royal Highness for the gracious audience and for the interest shown in our work and concerns. It was a historic and memorable occasion for the Perak Bar.
