RE: APPOINTMENT OF FORMER PERAK BAR CHAIRMAN MR. BABU RAJ RAJA GOPAL AS A MEMBER OF THE ANTI-BULLYING TRIBUNAL UNDER THE ANTI-BULLYING ACT 2026

The Perak Bar Committee is pleased to extend its warmest congratulations to Mr Babu Raj Raja Gopal, former Chairman of the Perak Bar, on his appointment as a Member of the Anti-Bullying Tribunal established under the Anti-Bullying Act 2026.

Mr. Babu Raj’s appointment is for a term of three (3) years, commencing on 16 June 2026 and ending on 15 June 2029.

This appointment is a significant recognition of Mr. Babu Raj’s distinguished service to the legal profession, his unwavering commitment to justice, and the confidence reposed in him to contribute towards the important work of the Anti-Bullying Tribunal. The Tribunal plays a vital role in addressing and adjudicating matters relating to bullying, thereby promoting a safer and more respectful environment within society.

The Perak Bar takes great pride in this achievement. Mr. Babu Raj’s appointment not only reflects his personal accomplishments and dedication but also serves as an inspiration to members of the Bar.
