RE: APPRECIATION – TRAINING FOR DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The Perak Bar extends its sincere appreciation to the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board for organising the Training for Disciplinary Committee Members, which was successfully held on 4 July 2026 (Saturday) at the Perak Bar Auditorium.

The training session was well attended and proved to be both insightful and highly beneficial. It provided valuable guidance on the role and responsibilities of Disciplinary Committee Members, while fostering a deeper understanding of the applicable procedures and best practices in the conduct of disciplinary proceedings.

On behalf of the Perak Bar, I wish to record our heartfelt gratitude to the members and representatives of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board as well as the distinguished trainers and speakers, for their time, expertise and commitment in delivering an engaging and fruitful programme. Their willingness to share their knowledge and practical experience has undoubtedly enhanced the competence and confidence of our members who serve on Disciplinary Committees.

I would also like to thank all participants for their active attendance and participation which contributed greatly to the success of the training.

The Perak Bar looks forward to continued collaboration with the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board in organising similar programmes for the benefit of the profession.
