RE: TOUTING

We refer to the above matter and the recent resolution adopted at the 80th AGM of the Malaysian Bar regarding the same, a copy of which is attached here.

2. The Perak Bar Committee fully supports the resolution adopted at the AGM of the Malaysian Bar to curb touting and urge all members of the Perak Bar to refrain from touting and other unethical client procurement activities as such activities amount to professional misconduct.

3. The Perak Bar Committee welcomes members of the Perak Bar to lodge any complaint of touting activities in writing to the State Bar, National Legal Aid and YBGK Committee, Malaysian Bar, Bar Council Anti-Touting Committee or the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board.
