RE: CHIT-CHAT SESSION #2 @ THE BAR ROOM, IPOH HIGH COURT ON 13 MAY 2026

The Young Lawyers & Pupils in Chambers Subcommittee successfully organised Chit-Chat Session #2 at the Bar Room, Ipoh High Court on 13 May 2026. 

The session featured our distinguished guest speaker, Ms Sheanna Shanta, who shared valuable insights on the topic: “Upholding Integrity: Ethical Standards & Self Safeguards in Legal Practice”.

The session focused on the importance of maintaining professionalism, ethical conduct, and practical safeguards in legal practice, particularly for young lawyers and pupils-in-chambers navigating the early years of practice.

Throughout the session, attendees were engaged in meaningful discussions relating to ethical dilemmas, professional responsibility, practical court etiquette, client management, and personal safeguards that practitioners may adopt in their day-to-day legal practice.

The Subcommittee would like to express our sincere appreciation to our distinguished speaker for generously taking the time to share their experience and guidance with members of the Bar and pupils-in-chambers.

We would also like to thank all members and pupils who attended and contributed to the engaging and interactive discussion.
