RE: FAREWELL FOR THE HONOURABLE DATO’ ABDUL WAHAB BIN MOHAMED

On behalf of the Perak Bar Committee, I wish to express my sincere appreciation to all members who attended the farewell high tea held in honour of the Honourable Dato’ Abdul Wahab bin Mohamed to mark his retirement from the High Court of Malaya, Ipoh.

The presence of more than 70 members was a meaningful reflection of the respect and goodwill that the members of the Perak Bar hold for Dato’ Wahab.

It was particularly gratifying to see such a strong turnout from members to mark this important occasion. Dato’ Wahab was visibly pleased by the gathering and expressed his appreciation for the warmth and good wishes extended to him by the Perak Bar.

As members of the Bar, we recognise the important role played by the Judiciary and the many years of service given by Dato’ Wahab to the administration of justice.

I would also like to thank Mr Sukhvinder Singh Sidhu and his team who assisted in organising the event and ensuring that the afternoon was conducted in a warm and fitting manner.

On behalf of the Perak Bar, we once again extend our deepest appreciation to Dato’ Wahab for his service and wish him and his family good health, happiness and every success in this new chapter of his life.
