RE: PERAK–PENANG BAR GAMES 2026 – A VICTORY FOR PERAK, A CELEBRATION OF UNITY

The Perak Bar is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Perak–Penang Bar Games 2026, with Perak emerging as the overall champion and after many years bringing the coveted Cup back to Perak!

This victory is particularly meaningful. It reflects not only the sporting abilities of our members, but also the teamwork, determination, commitment and fighting spirit that define the Perak Bar. Our members came together, represented our State Bar with pride and demonstrated that when we stand united, we can achieve remarkable things.

I wish to place on record my sincere appreciation to our Sports Chair, Mr Alif Aiman bin Rusli, and Puan Ruzitah binti Sarbani, for their leadership, dedication and tireless efforts in coordinating our participation and ensuring the success of the Games.

My heartfelt thanks also go to all the sports convenors, team managers, participants, volunteers and every member who contributed their time, energy and resources, whether on the field, behind the scenes or in supporting our teams. Every contribution mattered, and this victory belongs to all of you.

I am particularly proud of the spirit with which our members rallied together. The Games were more than a sporting competition, they were an opportunity to strengthen friendships, foster camaraderie and build a stronger sense of belonging within our Bar.

While we celebrate this achievement, we also acknowledge our friends from the Penang Bar, whose participation and sportsmanship made the occasion meaningful. Healthy competition strengthens the bonds between our two Bars, and we look forward to continuing this valued tradition.

After many years, the Cup has returned to Perak. To commemorate this special acheivement, the Championship Cup will be displayed in the Ipoh High Court Bar Room for one month giving the members an opportunity to see and celebrate the return of the Cup to Perak. Let us cherish this achievement, celebrate the collective effort behind it and carry this same spirit of unity into all that we do as a Bar.
