RE: PERAK BAR CHIT CHAT SESSION 2026 | THE ART OF ADVOCACY: WHAT MAKES A GOOD LITIGATOR? ⚖️

The Perak Bar Young Lawyers and Pupils in Chambers Subcommittee successfully held another Chit Chat Session on 5 November 2026 at the Bar Room, Ipoh High Court.

The session, titled “The Art of Advocacy: What Makes a Good Litigator?”, featured Mr Ahmad Yani bin Aminuddin A.M.P., Dispute Resolution Partner of Messrs Abbas & Ngan, who shared his valuable insights and experiences on advocacy, preparation, ethics and professionalism in legal practice.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Mr Ahmad Yani for generously sharing his time, wisdom and practical perspectives on what it takes to become not only an effective litigator, but also a responsible and principled member of the legal profession.

We would also like to thank all attendees for their enthusiastic participation and for making the session an engaging and meaningful exchange of ideas.

We hope the session has inspired our young lawyers and pupils to continue learning, refining their advocacy skills and striving for excellence in practice.
