RE: INVITATION TO ATTEND THE ASEAN SPORTS ADR FORUM 2025

We refer to the above matter.

Kindly be informed that the Asian International Arbitration Centre (Malaysia) [AIAC] is organising the ASEAN Sports ADR Forum 2025 titled “Ensuring Fair Play : Advancing Sports Dispute Resolution in Asia” on Friday, 23rd May 2025 at 9.30 a.m. at the AIAC Auditorium.

Forum Details:

Date: Friday, 23rd May 2025
Time: 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. (Networking Reception to follow)
Venue: Auditorium, Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC)

This Forum is a collaboration between the Legal Affairs Division of the Prime Minister’s Department (BHEUU, JPM), the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia (KBS), and the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). It aims to address barriers in sports dispute resolution, explore new opportunities, and empower the voices of athletes in the ASEAN region.

The Perak Bar Committee is looking for three (3) members to represent the Perak Bar at the said Forum. Members who are interested to attend are kindly requested to contact the Perak Bar Secretariat at 05-241 5457 by today, 22nd May 2025.

Please be informed that the invitation was only received by the Perak Bar Committee yesterday, and we are sharing it with members as soon as possible today.
